Mary – Palmyra – Ebla – Amirt – Ugarit – Arwad - Aleppo & Damascus. Each empire or kingdom inherited its own special culture to the Syrian glorious history. In addition to the inheritances of the Romans and the Greeks which obviously enriched its history too. Syria was inhabited by the pre – historic man and he left his traces in many sites. Unfortunately many wars and earthquakes took place, which caused some damages on the ancient ruins, but, in spite of that, the glorious inheritance of the past is still existed and deserves to be visited.
Many Churches and Monasteries were built at the beginning of the Christianity. Also, many Mosques and Qoraan schools ( Madrassa ) were built at the early days of Islam,Proudly, in Syria, there are towns still do speak " Aramaic " the holly language of Christianity " Jesus's Language ". Proudly too, Syria did offer the world the first Alphabet " Ugarit cuneiform ".
